Question / Help "Encoder initialization failed!" - OBS v0.651b using Nvidia NVENC

I have been streaming with the basic x264 for a while, but recently with newer games and whatnot I started to notice it was becoming harder and harder. So I decided to buy a GTX 970 instead to help out with the streaming.

Now, as soon as I started trying out the Nvidia NVENC option in OBS, I keep getting "Encoder initialization failed!".
I have tried several different presets, Bitrates, Keyframes, profiles and Encoding profiles.
I get the same result each time.

GPU : Nvidia GTX 970 Gaming 4G
Driver version: 347.88
CPU : i5-3470S @2.9GHz (Quad)
RAM : 16 GB
Operating System : Windows 8.1 pro

Preformed the cleanup, made sure to run both my old drivers and new ones as suggested, installed the new drivers, made sure to not skip step 6.. without result.
The logs report the same issue.

Thanks for the help so far, its kind of bugging me to see everyone else seem to be able to run it without issues. :P

Maybe turn off auto low latency mode? I think this does something with ref frames to 1 and some other stuff. I might be wrong but just something I noticed.

Fun update on this; Tried the 32bit for the hell of it and while the encoder works there, the 32bit just can't keep up. :P

32-bit and 64-bit performance is negligible. You would have the same problem if you got the 64-bit version of OBS working.
