Hey gang. Trying to digitize VHS tapes played on a JVC VCR through Elgato Video Capture via OBS. Running OBS 30.1.2 on Windows 10 Home.
My OBS audio meters aren't showing anything. No bouncing bar, nothing. I've read countless posts from other users on various forums and tried all sorts of things. No luck yet.
My speakers work. If I open a video file, I can hear it fine. If I play my VCR through the Elgato video capture software, the audio works. But I'd rather use OBS, because it looks like I can get a better (and more complete) picture.
On occasion, when I first open OBS, I will actually hear the audio from the VCR... but the meters in the OBS Audio Mixer section aren't doing anything. And if I try to record, the resulting file contains no audio track.
Any suggestions? And what other information and/or screenshots can I provide to help diagnose the problem?

Thank you!
