Elgato sound not working in OBS

Hi,

So I'm using an Elgato HD60 with a Chat Link to capture my PS4. Everything worked perfectly fine for a few years.
I hear the sound through my headset connected to the Chat Link and the controller. But the sound is not picked up by OBS and the bar isn't moving in the mixer.
I'm thinking it might be an input/output error situation, but I don't see it.

What does the WASAPI thing mean? I have no idea what device has "failed to start" unfortunately. :(

I don't either, at least not directly, but I suspect that if you solve that, the other problem will go away too. And now you have something useful to google. :-)

Hi, I'm restarting this conversation as I still haven't been able to fix this problem.
I'm not getting this "WASAPI: Device ... has failed to start" in the log anymore. I can hear the PS4 audio in my headset with the Chat Link but it's not picking up anything in the OBS audio mixer.
Output is set to analog in the Elgato capture software as stated on the Elgato website, and has always been and worked just fine. Yes, I tried switching to HDMI and that didn't work.

It's clearly an OBS issue but I can't seem to find what's not working anymore.
