Hey guys new to the streaming world. Looked up a couple of guides but each of them where all different and I feel its mainly for PC gaming. I have an Xbox One and I'm trying to stream Call of Duty at the best settings I can get with my specs.

I'm having difficulties on what to put my base native resolution? Now does this even matter for me because I'm using my Elgato for the Xbox One? Do I still leave it at 1920x1080 ?

I'm trying to stream at 720P and I want the best settings that can give me a nice quality to my viewers. Also I have another question under the advance tabs can I change my cpu preset: to "FAST" or should I leave it at "VERYFast"

You can either set OBS to a fixed resolution, for example 1280x720 for a 720p stream, and then fit the sources to this size. Or, assuming all xbox one games would run on 1080p (which they only do if they upscale as far as I know) you could set obs to 1920x1080 and use the downscale dropdown to still output a 720p stream. If you run your xbox one games on 720p anyway, I would set OBS to that resolution.
For the settings: try with bitrates between 2000-3500 kbit maximum. Lower is better for more possible viewers. You can use 30 fps if you input 1080p footage over the elgato and on 720p input you could also do up to 60fps in OBS.
Most other settings should be set according to your streaming provider, for example Twitch wants a keyframe interval of 2 seconds, but what you can tweak is the CPU preset. (x264 CPU preset, in the advanced settings)
With your CPU you can probably run fast or medium preset, keep an eye on your cpu usage in high action scenes and test which works best.
