Question / Help Elgato + Obs Black screen.

everytime I try to preview my stream my obs and my TV go black. I don't know what's going on. When I open up the Elgato Application it works fine and streams perfectly to Twitch. I'm using an Xbox one with Elgato Game Capture HD.
 
I've been trying to stream and I got my legato recently, please help. :/ otherwise I plan on returning it to get my money back
