I added my Elgato capture device to OBS, but it shows "no device" on the preview stream. I go to the main Elgato program and the video feed is shown there. I went to configure on OBS, but everything is locked up.
Make sure under the device properties that the audio is set to "(Use Device Audio)" and not the Elgato HD option. Also if you're using a webcam make sure that the audio for that is set to the webcam or disabled and not the Elgato. For whatever reason it will show up as no device if those options aren't correct.
@Cartboy Those are my settings and it's still saying "No Device..."
@Jack0r The first two solutions regard the Elgato Capture Software which works unless it means to close OBS and open it again. The next three I did, no luck still says "No Device..." and the last step I don't know how to reset a USB port.
Completely uninstall and reinstall the Elgato drivers and software; reseat your cables, and try a different USB port. Reboot. Make sure that the Elgato software is not running when you try to add it as a video capture device source to the 32-bit version of OBS.
