Question / Help Elgato HD60

I can't find a confirmation anywhere about this, so I'll ask it.

I recently picked up an HD60 so that I may stream/record my WiiU, but I thought I could also use it to stream/record my computer.

It doesn't work in 64 bit mode, only in 32 bit mode, which is fine but when I started recording, the frames dropped rapidly. I was only getting about 17 FPS. I thought maybe it was my settings, but when I went to the Elgato software, it recorded just fine. I looked up some settings online, tried them, but they didn't work.

Now when I go to record it using OBS, it doesn't even show up. It just has the Elgato loading screen.

My guess is that the HD60 isn't compatible with OBS yet, but I want a confirmation about this, or even better, a solution. If it isn't compatible, is there any time in the future that it will be?

I think it is 32bit OBS only, I might be wrong. capture cards are not for single PC setups. they are for dual PC setups and console capture. as for your low fps issue, I would first post a logfile from the help menu of OBS, copy the link and post the link here. you'll need aero enabled in windows, and use "video capture source" for the source and last but not least, make sure the elgato software is up to date and not running while in use with OBS.

I think this is the right log, not sure.

If you are broadcasting at 720@60, set your HD60 to capture at 720@60, also as I said before, enable aero (uncheck disable aero in OBS and set an AERO enabled theme in windows themes. I would turn your preset back to veryfast at least until you get the bugs worked out with this. After that, test again, and this next time you post your log, post the link not the text
