Just moved from an AverMedia Live Gamer HD to the Elgato HD60 Pro. I changed no settings within OBS after swapping cards. I noticed that I would get occasional lag in game and then skipped frames to catch up. I enabled my webcam and there was no delay in that source while the Elgato was lagging. CPU usage never got above 41% and GPU usage never got above 34%.I attempted:
-Lower resoulution
-x264 and Nvidia NVENC
-resolution downscale to 720p
-increased buffering to 250 milliseconds
-Elgato driver 2.2.0 and beta 3.0
I reinstalled my AverMedia, and noticed no lag. I tried this with my Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC and have the same lag on each.
I recorded a 30 second clip of a stopwatch to show the lag. I noticed that it is happening every ~6 seconds. I can w=excuse the fist couple of seconds as the capture beginning lag, but the full stop at 8, 14, 20, and 26 are what I'm noticing.
