Question / Help Elgato HD60 losing signal intermittently

Hey guys,

I finally got my full setup up and running and now I'm experiencing an odd issue. I got my mic (AT2020USB) setup today, and now every few minutes when I am stream from my Xbox One through my HD60 it will drop the signal every few minutes or so. This causes my TV to go blank and I get a "No Signal" splash screen in OBS when this happens. It reconnects after about 10 seconds, but it's not ideal.

I'm running the HD60, Logitech C920, and mic all into USB 3.0. Using a Gigabyte Z87N Wifi board with a i5 4670k on Windows 7 ultimate SP1. Any ideas?

Any loose connections?

Try putting your HD60 on your USB 3.0 ports and your other devices on your 2.0 ports (and/or vice versa).

Thanks for the reply! No loose connections to speak of. I noticed the first time, but haven't since, that I encountered a high CPU usage message in OBS before losing connection to the Elgato. I'm running OBS, Spotify,, and my dashboard with no video preview at less than recommended settings (720p, 30fps, 2000kb/s bitrate, 96kb/s bitrate for audio) and still having intermittent issues.

I'm now configured to running only the Elgato on USB 3.0. Will give that a go and report back.

I'm having the same issue with my OG Elgato, checked connections, tried different ports, dunno what else to try. Other than, replace it. I have BBY GS BTP I can make use of. Maybe they'll give ma an HD60
