Question / Help Elgato HD60 Device Input

Hello. What is the difference between selecting "PS4" or "XBOX ONE" in the Elgato HD60 Device Input setting?

I have a PS4. It doesn't seem to matter whether I select "PS4" or "XBOX ONE" in the Device Settings. The recordings all come out the same (bitrate, analog audio, etc.).

Does it really matter what I select as my device? If not, why is that setting input option there?
