Question / Help Elgato HD Audio Stuttering Problem

I'm having the same issue, if you're having it with ps3, change display to 720p and it worked for me, annoying i can't do 1080p though :(

I'm having a similar issue. The stream starts up with strange audio stutter but eventually fixes itself but once it does the gameplay audio is slightly out of sync even with the "Use Buffering" enabled. I don't have this issue when I'm not using a mic, but as soon as I enable my mic it de-syncs. I have my mic set to a 1250ms delay to sync it properly with the game but like I said, once that's working everything else goes haywire.

Is this the issue they're working on in OBS? For now I guess I'm stuck using the Elgato software but I really try to avoid using that unless I'm recording.

Hi All,

The drivers that you may have heard of that a few of you got to test are now public!

These drivers, in conjunction with OBS 0.65 should finally fix the audio desync issues some of you have been experiencing when streaming with your Elgato Game Capture HD60's or HD's.

To get these new drivers, uninstall the current version of the Elgato Game Capture software, and download the new version

- Download 2.1 for Windows 7/8

If you notice any bugs or issues, please sent me a private message immediately!

See you on Twitch! (Or Hitbox or YouTube or anywhere else)

i just got back from vacation and am gonna try this ASAP, after work lol Thanks a bunch Lt. RoyalShrimp!

Are the new drivers only to fix de-syncing or also the choppy audio? As I'm still having the audio chopping issues ;x

Thanks to the latest OBS in conjunction with the new el gato drivers and turning the encoding from x264 to NVENC I can now stream at 3MB at 720P at 60FPS flawlessly. Thank all of you for the hard work on the program and Lt RoyalShrimp for helping us El Gato owners!!

Cant wait till this weekend when I can test it further!
