Question / Help Elgato - Getting No Signal

Hello Everyone,

I setup everything on my OBS and stated with the v0.47 and couldnt get it to work. I see my image and webcam but get the Game Capture screen showing No Signal when i hit th ePreview Steam. So I tried the v0.48 which if you go into options and adjust the Buffer its supposed to work. So I did that and it still does work. I tried 0, 100 and 200 in the buffer option. Is there anyone else having this issue. When I shut off the Preview, I can see my PS3 screen again on my monitor but when I hit Preview again and turn on OBS, it goes blank and i lose signal again.

Could you see if it works in their software? (sorry for the delayed response by the way)

Apologies if you have already tried this.

Add the device to OBS in the usual way (Add Video Capture Device)
While the preview is active right click the device and click properties
Click the configure button (Cannot stress enough that this will only work when the preview is running)
An Elgato Game Capture HD config will pop up, Change "Input Device" to PS3
Change "Input" from HDMI to Component, Click Done and then OK
The PS3 should hopefully appear in OBS now and properly pass-through to your monitor.

hello, i have the same issue as abbner.
and i have done all the the things that frostshoker gave up. but in my case, when i select the configure button and the elgato config pops up but i cant change the input device and all the other stuff..
please help me.

Did anyone answer this question? I too am unable to make any changes to the Elgato through OBS. It works fine with the Game Capture software that came packaged with the device.
