Question / Help elgato game capture runs well on game capture software, but skips frames in OBS stream preview

i just got an elgato hd60 s and the preview looks fine on elgato's software but it skips frames whenever i preview it on obs. Since it runs well on elgato's software, i think it may be the settings i have. Any help?

Try lowering your C920 resolution, having both it and the Elgato running at 1080p is probably more than your USB controller is capable of handling.
