Question / Help Elgato Freezes OBS

Hello everyone,
I have been streaming with my elgato game capture hd and it has been working fine.
Today i tried to stream and OBS stopped responding so i closed it and tried it again and the same thing happened. So i tried restarting my computer and the same thing kept happening.
I decided to uncheck my elgato and see if it would work without it and it did. But as soon as i enabled my elgato it froze again.
I am using CLR Browser for alerts my webcam and an overlay.
Does anyone know what could be causing this and if i need to post a log can someone tell me how to get it. Thanks for your help!

Not entirely sure - sometimes USB devices can take a while to start up, especially if you have a lot of different USB devices plugged in to the computer at once. Perhaps that could be the issue? Or have you tried switching the port? Mostly just throwing out guesses here. Freeze on device initialization usually means something like that, it definitely does not normally happen.

So i fixed this issue by just hitting start stream and unplugging the usb and plugging it back in to different ports and it started working when i unplugged the usb from the elgato instead of the computer and the stream started right up! Now it is working every time! At least this is out there so if someone else has this issue maybe they too can solve it! Thank you for your suggestions.
