I have the delay from my webcam and mic to actual gameplay. Before anyone says look at past forums believe I have looked at way too many already and none of those solutions honestly helped. So I came here hoping to get results! I use an Elgato to stream with!

This is my computers specs. I also have 100mb down and 40 upload. It seems to be delayed no matter what I do I just can't find those perfect settings so if anyone can PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help I would appreciate it a lot! Thank you!

These are my log files as well! https://gist.github.com/e4f94da87357e9bdcd11

That was an incomplete log file. The incomplete log files are our fault (sorry about that), but anyway here is what you should do:

* Disable the mic in audio settings.
* Double-click the webcam source to open its properties.
* Set the "audio device" there to your mic.
* Enable 'use buffering', and set it to 1500.

That should then fix the issue with the webcam video and mic audio not being in sync with the elgato.

The thing is my settings were already that. I tried it and it didn't work I still had the big delay between the two

Because it's a USB 2.0 capture device it's normal for output from your Elgato to be delayed, so you need to delay your mic and webcam as well to have them sync up. You can delay the mic under Settings > Audio > Mic Sync Offset, and your webcam in its source properties (double-click on your webcam in the sources list to open its properties window). You may need to experiment a bit to find the correct values.

Here's the thing I understand that but I literally changed that delay from 1400 back all the way to 0 and it still has that delay regardless. So there's no way to go negative on the vaules so what can I do? Is there any place that says what the settings for all the settings should be?

The goal is not to eliminate the delay that your Elgato has, it's a side effect of the hardware and isn't something you can correct. What you're trying to do is delay your mic and webcam an equal amount so that everything appears to be in sync on your stream.

Okay here is my issue. My mic and webcam are perfectly in sync. But lets say I say something in the game for instance he's right in front of you. My stream will hear me say that but won't see it for about 4 or 5 seconds. So potentially if we win a game my stream will hear me say it than see it about 4 or 5 seconds later. I understand and I have looked at numerous guides and nothing seems to work.

You are describing exactly what I'm telling you how to fix. The output from your Elgato to OBS is always going to be delayed, this is normal. Elgato is 4-5 seconds behind? Delay your mic and webcam by 4-5 seconds too so they match up. Again the goal isn't to eliminate the Elgato's delay, the goal is to add a delay to your mic and webcam. If everything is delayed by the same amount then what your viewers see will be in sync.

First off I just wanted to say thank you for helping me with all this I really appreciate it. I am sorry if I am coming off rude in any way I am just frustrated with it. Sorry.

Okay so I did what you said. It worked but than within a minute or so it would have a greater delay. So it would work I would test again and it would be about a 2 second delay than try it again a minute or so later and get about a 3-4 second delay. Anyway to fix that?

Try lowering the resolution of your webcam and/or switching it to a different USB port. If possible you might also try setting your mic as a recording device under Settings > Audio instead of using it as the webcam's audio device in the webcam source's properties window.

iBokolo, I feel your pain. I am having the same problem. I can get it to be in sync and after awhile it will go out of sync during my live stream. I feel like I might just get rid of my Elgato :( which is sad, cause it makes my sega Genesis look so good, and in color!!
