I just got a new elgato HD 60. I think I solved the audio lag issues between my mic, webcam and game on the stream. Everything seems to line up while streaming..
But.....
I am still getting audio delay from what I am hearing. For example, the sounds coming from the PS4 through the elgato into my PC (OBS) is still delayed. I assume its because I am forcing audio through my PC. I am not using headphones into my PS4. I want to push the audio through my PC because I want to hear my follower alerts, maybe music etc while streaming. Also so I can use my ear buds (head sets hurt my ears after a while) and my AT2020 and team speak.
But there is still that delay...
I have tried everything in OBS..
I tried setting the Settings>Advance> "Global Audio Sync Offset" to many things, positive and negative, makes no difference.
Tried selecting "Force desktop audio to use video timestamps as a base for audio time" no dice. Not sure what it does but googled and and it work for some people.
I have tried opening my elgato source>Audio Sync Offset (milliseconds) to many things, including negative numbers, still doesn't change anything. I have "Output audio to desktop" selected so I can hear my PC audio as well.
I am at my wits end. My avermedia died last week and I though this thing was going to be easier. But if its not one thing, its another.
Any ideas?
