Question / Help Elgato and OBS aspect ratio isn't playing nice?

Using the Elgato HD, with GameCapture updated to the latest version, and OBS updated to the latest version, I am trying to capture my Wii gameplay. Whenever I add the Elgato as a device, it places the capture into the projector in a 16:9 aspect ratio, like my Wii is set. Problem is when I go to Edit Scene and try to resize the Elgato's box. It suddenly resizes to a 4:3 aspect ratio and will not resize back to a 16:9 under any circumstance.

Is there a setting amiss, or did something break from a previous version of something? Because this wasn't an issue a few versions of OBS back.

You may have to manually set the desired resolution in the properties of the elgato. We added resolution controls there and you can now control what resolution the elgato itself plays at.

Yeah, nothing I set anywhere is keeping it locked in the proper aspect ratio. Thank for your help in the chat though. The Shift+Resize thing will at least let me work around it for the time being.
