Since the new elgato 2.0 update came out i have not been able to stream or record with obs. When i start my stream or recording it says no signal or it it will work for about 2 min and then say no signal i have noticed that it will say in the elgato config panel that dolby sound is not supported before it goes to the no signal screen. i tried the live support but they are useless. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.

Oh? Hm, you may have to try another port on it. Sometimes stuff like that can happen due to weird USB issues.

i tryed that and then when i put my overlay on to stream with out my webcam it started lagging and then eventually it froze and said no signal so it is almost like anytime i put anything over the elgato it starts to glitch. Let me see if it does it with nothing else besides the elgato

so after trying to fix the problem i have gotten some more info. So my webcam causes my elgato to go no signal when i am streaming and without my webcam it is just extremely laggy and sometimes freezes.

Sounds like they are competing for power/bandwidth.

Try plugging in the Game Capture HD into a different set of USB ports than the webcam.

If you are on a desktop, motherboards usually have sets of USB ports. If you can, (and are on a desktop) find a set of USB 2.0 ports to put the Game Capture HD, and the webcam on another set of two USB port.

What resolution are you trying to run your webcam at? Have you tried lowering it?
Does the Elgato software itself have the same issue or is it working okay?
If the problem seems to have started with the new 2.0 software from Elgato, does rolling back to their last release fix the issue?

ok the webcam res is at 1280x720 which is the same as my elgato. The elgato works fine in the elgato software and no going back to the past release does not work i thought it had something to do with that and that was the first thing i tried
