I’m having trouble editing the raw files that OBS produces (more details below)
I’m using the following settings:
Video encoding:
X264
Use CBR, enable CBR padding
Max bitrate 3000
Audio encoding: AAC
Bitrate: 192
Format: 48 kHz
Channel: stereo
Video settings:
1920X1080 resolution
No downscale
FPS: 60
Disable Aero
Audio Settings:
Speakers
No mic
The video works fine if I want to watch it or upload the raw thing to youtube, but when I try to import it into Sony Vegas Pro 9, only the audio shows up and it’s as if there isn’t even an associated video.
So to edit it I have to convert the file to a usable form before being able to edit it. Ironically enough, doing so makes the video show up, but the audio peaks do not. The audio still works, but an error appears if I convert it to wmv format.
Is there a file output that I could set OBS to so that I can immediately edit it in sony vegas?
