There's a constant echo in my stream. It happens whether or not i am in Skype, muted or unmuted. i tried seeing if "listen to device" is enabled in the recording options on my computer and its not and it keeps happening. I've tried everything i can think of and i cant seem to figure out what the problem is. I am using a Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma Headset. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Go to playback devices of your Windows mixer.
double click your Headset.
Click on levels and make sure, the mic Is muted.

it happened on my friends end too.

yes this makes sense if you have your own stream running whatever you can hear your stream will hear the same, thats why i asked if you made sure that you dont have your own stream running in the background

that turns off all my audio on my computer...

If you can mute your mic in the Headset playback device levels, it should not mute your entire Audio.

As u see, everything is muted, only the speakers are not.

But, i did'n explain it correctly. This will only help, if u hear yourself on the headphones.

I still dont understand how that makes a difference because ive streamed before with headphones and a webcam as a mic and there wasnt an echo even when i had my stream running and if i cant view my stream i cant type in chat or see what people are typing.
