Steam or windows edition?
windows edition does not allow capturing for the time being. This is somehting MS will have to work out to my understanding.
Steam, I'm not really sure. but you could try anticheat hook in game capture. if that doesn't work, remove the game capture and use a window capture (game will need to be in windowed mode), then if that doesn't work, go into window capture properties and set it to compatibility mode.

I can confirm this, Steam dx11 works fine, but dx12 does not. Neither game capture, nor window capture. Both preview and vid show only the mouse cursor. I'm not sure what do you mean by "compatibility mode", but multi-adapter compatibility doesn't help.
you are referring to OBS Studios, I am referring to the original OBS.

Monitor capture should work, in theory anyway. Unlike Windows 7, there's no performance penalty when using monitor capture. However OBS and Windows 10 does not mix well together anymore.

There are no known issues specifically related to OBS and Windows 10. If you're having an issue with OBS and Windows 10, please report it in the appropriate forum.
