Question / Help Duel Streaming Laptops

I'm trying to do a duel pc stream but with 2 laptops so I'm able to use a capture card but I was wondering if a capture box would work for pc. but they all say xbox and playstation to pc. none non state whether they work pc to pc can anyone help me
 
A capture device will take any video source you throw at it, and handle it identically. It just sees incoming video (and audio), doesn't care what's creating it.
