I have tried ABSOLUTELY everything to try and start streaming however because my Intel HD Graphics 4600 controls Display, I can't. The only possible fix would be somehow making my nVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M control both Display and Rendering. I've been told that disabling my Intel HD Graphics 4600 in BIOS would fix it but if I'm correct, it'll have the same effect as disabling it in Device Manager, am I right?

If you need me to, I'll post the log file.

Next time just post a log anyway, if its not needed at least its there for reference, if we do its already here.

Yes please post a log and no, disabling it from bios is different than from device manager; and I'm not familiar with that "fix" so hold off on that til we take a look

Yep, a black screen whenever I use Game Capture and a black screen most of the time with window capture. If no black screen with Window Capture, the game'll be super tiny on the stream.

in the window capture, select stretch to window and compatibility mode and on your preview window, select fit to screen by right clicking the preview window under size and position.

I did and it doesn't take up the entire screen... The main game I'd be livestreaming also doesn't have a windowed-borderless option or work with any windowed borderless application.

So you are stuck with game capture. If so the only option is to add the OBS application to nVidia control panel (make sure you are pointing to the right OBS! you are using the 32bit version of OBS so "c:\Program Files (x86)\OBS" not "c:\ program files\OBS" when pointing the Nvidia Control Panel to OBS.

I've tried that. What about that BIOS thing? Would that fix my problem?
since its a notebook, I dont think this option would work for you.

switchable graphics is the main issue and the work arounds listed there are the only real fixes. and if your game is full screen only, then you are pretty much SoL for now. Others may chime in if I'm missing something though

Thanks for the help throughout the day anyways. Any ideas what I can do to at least cover up the black area from the rest of window capture?

post a screenshot please :D

And yes, in the preview window, fit to screen AND under the capture method properties, "stretch to window"
