Hello, I recently purchased a second pc and capture card (Avermedia Live Gamer HD) so I can stream with a dual pc setup. I have been having a lot of issues with audio.
My gaming pc is connected to the capture card in the stream pc via HDMI. I have only ONE headset (Astro A40, 3.5 MM cable), and it is connected directly to the motherboard. I am using on board sound, no sound cards period. I have 2 monitors, 1 connected to my gaming pc the other to my stream pc. I set up all the settings under playback devices in the windows settings and under the "set up digital audio" section in nvidia control panel.
Here is the issue. I had audio output in obs and I have been streaming perfectly fine here and there for the past couple weeks but every now and then my audio decides to just cut out and no longer have any audio being produced.. I was able to fix this by opening up the command prompt and restarting the audio service with the commands, "net stop audiosrv" and "net start audiosrv". This was a temporary fix for this but recently I cant seem to get my audio to work period. If anyone has any suggestions or knows what I can do to fix this please let me know, thanks!
