Question / Help Dual Card Set-up?

I use OBS to stream with my Avermedia Live Gamer Portable and using the stream engine record footage while I stream. The only problem is that with high motion scenes (FIFA 15 games) people complain about me dropping frames which I can only put to me recording and streaming at the same time.

Could I have a set-up where I use my avermedia to stream then maybe a elgato to record?
I use a xbox one to play/stream FIFA 15 and was hoping to see if I could use a dual cap card on one PC?

Well, it should be noted that one of the capture cards or both need to have a Passthrough, or you would need a splitter to connect a xbox to two Capture Cards. (The LGP has passthrough, so you should be fine, not sure about the elgato in this case) :)
