Question / Help DS and NES streaming help

Hello so i am having an issue with obs when i try to stream NES and DS games on an emulator when i go to do preview stream and i have the emulator running with the game loaded all i get is a black screen and i am using game capture for the source and they have their own scenes the emulators i am using are for NES i am using fceux and for DS i am using DeSmuME_x64 and the games i am trying to stream on the DS emulator are Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon and Fire Emblem New Mystery of the Emblem and the game i am trying to stream on NES is Fire Emblem Gaiden

Try using libretro/RetroArch with the FCEU and the DeSmuME cores, and capture it with game capture. Much better results in my experience than hoping individual emulators render in a captureable way reliably.

when i do a preview stream with that method the video part comes out but the audio becomes very choppy and the frame rate slows. Is there anyway to fix that issue?
