Question / Help Dropping Frames While Recording

I'm getting really frustrated lately. No matter what I try (lowering bitrate, lowering buffer size, all that jazz) nothing has worked. I drop frames constantly in the video and it is VERY stuttery. I do record at 1080p because WoW looks the best that way. Any help? :(

Here are my PC specs:

Even if its not what you want to keep, but could you try to downscale your resolution to 720p and post another log?
Your CPU isn't bad but encoding in 1080p is no easy task.
You could try quicksync, too ... if your motherboard supports it.

I actually just lowered my res to 720p, I'll post the log.
But does the amount of bitrate matter? Should I lower it? Or is 15k fine for now?
(I'm keeping it the Quality Balance at 8, but if I should lower it, please let me know)

Hmm I checked the last log you posted, I noticed you said you downscaled to 720, but the log still used 1080p and veryfast preset. Can you maybe post a new log with 720p on superfast/ultrafast as mentioned?

How do I change that? I'm at 720p but if it's still using 1080 then what do I do?

Yeah, those settings look fine now. Timings are alsoo good.
Looking from the OBS side, you have tweaked pretty much everything you can, and lowered the resources OBS will use significantly. Another thing that sometimes can help is to tweak the in-game graphic settings. For example on some games, deactivating shadows alone gives a dramatic boost, in other games its anti-aliasing. You could for testing purposes try lowering your WoW graphic settings.
To be clear, is the problem at the moment that the video is not smooth or WoW looses too many fps and is stuttery?

it's actually a mixture of the two. WoW runs well while I use 720p recording but the video itself can still be stuttery and unsmooth. Which is generally more important because nobody wants to watch a video with stutters and random skipped frames.
