Question / Help Dropping Bitrate / Disconnects

Some software seems to forcebly closing the connection of obs.
Add obs to your firewall (or disable it temporarely for testing) and white-list it in your virusscanner (or also temprarely disable it for testing)

Well something is interfering with it as the logs indicates:

RTMPPublisher::SocketLoop: Aborting due to FD_CLOSE, error 10053

Perhaps there is some other software that is doing something with your network or in a worse case it could be a virus.
An active scan is never bad to do and cant hurt to try out. Not that i say that there is an virus but something is interrupting/closing the conection on your pc.
Im curious to know if you are able to browse the internet normally when that happens (when obs drops the connection).

PC should be fine (last check is about 1 week ago).

Only OBS drops, Games, Skype and everything is fine.

Uninstalled OBS and then installed again and did a new entry in the firewall....now i have conncection until 35mins

Thank you for fast help

P.S. I hope this was the solution...

Tried disabling firewall and virus scanner all together as was suggested? Are you using wireless internet? Checked your modem settings (it might not allow big traffic)?

Cheers.
P.S. Also ISP sometimes have a weak connection to their "proxy" servers and need to be sorted with them.

I dont use wireless internet and i cant find some strange settings in my modem.
My ISP is Unitymedia.

Why is your buffer bigger than your bitrate? were you told to do this? not that this is the cause of your issues, but they should be identical
