Question / Help Droppin Frames

So, first of all I would like a small background as to what affects frame rate. The computer itself or the internet or both?
Usually, I drop frames with the "High Encoding" message at the bottom left corner, but now the upload speed indicator just switches from green to yellow to red and then I just drop frames like crazy. (Streaming has never been an issue with my computer before, this has just recently started.) What can I do?

Post a log file from the Help menu.

High CPU can affect it. Dropped frames are almost always a network issue. The green/yellow/red indicator shows if your local buffer is almost full (eg: network can't send fast/reliably enough to the remote server).

you did not attempt to stream with that logfile. best bet is to try and duplicate the issue then post a log of that session.

you should enable aero for game capture and pretty much any capture method you use.

make your webcam a global source then readd it.

now here above is your issue. at 1800 bitrate you either dont have enough upload to sustain 1800 bitrate, or the ingest is saturated or your ISP is throttling you on occasion.

use the above tool for your region to get an idea of how your ISP handles different ingests. Post a screen shot of the results.

try dallas, virginia or newyork as ingests, those show the highest quality (which means less throttling)

Also, reduce the bitrate to 1400, bitrate does not calculate in audio bitrate and you do not want to saturate your line.
