Question / Help Dropped Frames Issue! Please help!

I normally don't have that issue, it just started to happen today and man was it frustrating - 50% of my frames were dropped and my stream was literally 1 frame at a time. It was insane and it lasted a while, 30-40 minutes, after which it "calmed down" to 25% which was still hell to the viewers.

Here's my speedtest results, my upload speed usually varies between 2 and 2.8 mb/s:

My CPU is an Intel i5-4460 processor with 3.2GHz Quad-Core
My GPU is an nVIDIA GeForce GTX 650
My RAM is 2x4GB G.Skill 1600DDR3 memory
I live in Israel - according to the JTVPing program, the best server is Frankfort, Germany

These are my settings, I run League of Legends @130 FPS smoothly - the reason I didn't touch the resolution part is because my monitor is 1680x1050 so if I change it to.. say.. 1.5x it would be deformed on stream. Right now all I have in terms of resolution is two black bars that don't really interrupt anyone, but how do I stop 50% of my frames to drop within the stream?

Thanks in advance!

Try speed testing to Frankfurt, Germany instead of inside your own country. You'll probably find you have terrible international connectivity from your ISP.

you have 2,32 mbit upload and you try to run a 2k bitrate

since the bitrate is going to fluctuate theres no other possibility to drop frames since it can go over 2500 without a problem for a few seconds

do what rich said and no matter what drop your bitrate to at least 1700 to have some headroom

I'll give it a go, but in that case what WOULD be the best server to locate myself on? JTVPing states I get the least amount of ping and ms from Frankfurt so I'm clueless...

EDIT: Tried Eibelstadt, because it was the closest geographical location to Frankfurt and I got this result:

doesnt really matter since you are not partnered take whatever server works for you in the end all your viewers will be watching you over sfo

So I fixed the dropped frames issue (it's 0% now) but the only issue now.. is that the stream literally freezes for 30 seconds-ish and only showcases a single frame.. the OBS doesn't record any framedrops, but the stream just shows ONE FRAME. PER 30 SECONDS TO 1 MINUTE.

How do I fix that?

No I don't think you understand, my friend told me how it looks like and I even checked the stream appearance with the little OBS window. I even checked it now and instead of being fluid it's just one frame that sticks for about 30 seconds then changes to a different frame. There's no frame drops whatsoever.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling OBS, it didn't work. What else should I try?

EDIT: I think I fixed it by making LoL Borderless. Will update if the problem persists!
