Question / Help Dropped Frames / Help me to find the problem

Hello everyone. Lately I wanted to start stream again and still having the problem with twitch. On hitbox.tv SOMETIMES I can stream 720p/60fps with 2500 bitrate but sometimes I can't stream, on twitch, I can't use more than 1500/1600 bitrate. This is the problem that I'm having. How am I gonna solve this? Is it about between my ISP and Twitch Ingest Servers?

I read the 'dropped frames' topic. How am I gonna check for 'throttling'? And TCP port number 1935 is allowed on me for sure because I'm not getting disconnected? (Am I right?)

Here is my pc:

Intel i5 3570k @ 3.4GHz
MSI z77-g43
AMD HD 7950
Gskill ripjawsx 2x4gb 1600 mhz
SSD + HDD
25mbps/5mbps

Encoder: Quick Sync
Use CBR: checked
Max Bitrate: 2500kb/s
Resolution Downscale: 1.50 (1280x720)
FPS: 60
Use Multithreaded Optimizations: checked
Process Priorty Class: Normal
Scene Buffering Times (milliseconds): 700
Quick Sync Preset: 1 (Best Quality)
Encoding Profile: main
Keyframe Interval: 2
Use CFR: checked
Use custom parameters for the Quick Sync encoder: unchecked (should I check this, if I should then what should I go for more 'Target Kbps' etc.)

And what were the results? please post a SS if possible. I will say regardless, this is an issue between you,your ISP, and twitch but more than likely it needs to be reported to your ISP since hitbox is intermittant and twitch is always doing this?

I already posted it sir. Hitbox was not doing this but it started to do this, too. Really questionable. Twitch always doing this.

Oh!, so sorry. I missed it since it was the whole screen :P Yes, there is something going on srsly wrong with those results especially if you are supposed to get 5Mb/s. I mean, ISPs dont promise 5Mb/s to everywhere, but that is rediculously low.

I would also attempt to check your Network card drivers. I had a guy that this happened to and had him use the drivers from his motherboard website and it fixed it. I believe he also was only getting 100mb/s from his 1Gb NIC but his was an intel.
unfortunately, the method I had him use, had to uninstall his drivers via device manager ensuring he removed the driver with it then rebooted then installed the "older" driver from his mobo's website.

the above can be dangerous as you need to make sure you:

1. have the correct NIC driver
2. download it ofc.
3. just make sure you have a usable NIC driver if this fails.

I would ask you to do the same but with warning.

Well I think I need little bit more help about it. How am I gonna find the TRUE NIC driver?

google your motherboard model number and go to their site and download the network driver for your operating system.

don't take offense, but if you cant figure that out, you probably shouldn't be doing this as I dont want you to be without connection to the internet if you cant figure it out after you do the uninstall.

EDIT: lastly, not even sure if this will fix the issue, its more of a shot in the dark. this issue is more than likely with your ISP.

here is an option in device manager when removing the old driver that is has a check box to remove the old driver. this will be needed to be checked, a restart then installing the new driver. Anyway, like I said above, if it doesn't work I really means its not your PC, contact your ISP.

I downloaded latest driver, then removed the driver. After that I restarted pc and installed latest one. Then restarted again and tried the same thing = same results. I wanna check for throttling but I dunno how to do, do you have any idea?

I prefer the video test if I remember it correctly, but any type of test should work. there isn't exactly a rtmp throttling test besides the one I linked to you before, which lowers the quality % when throttling or dropped packets are detected.

I've just tried to stream 720p 30fps with 2000 bitrate. And it worked for like 20 mins I think or less, then it went 0 kbps and dropped frames etc. Posting log

Contact your ISP and/or twitch or lower your bitrate. this is all I can have you do.
