Question / Help Dropped Frames and Disconnects

So I finally tested the above setting and it seems to resolve all dropped frames. I still occasionally disconnect, but overal stream reliability is much better. Based on error messages in the log it may be something on my end, I really don't know what it is unless my ISP is doing something. I may have to try a older version of OBS and see if it changed anything.

Changed ingestion servers and no longer get disconnects (went from VA to TX). Dropped frames were 0 last night using DisableSendWindowOptimization=1.

TP-Link WR841N running DDWRT

I've been using the same router for quite some time...

What router / modems do you guys use?

I've got a modem/router combo from my ISP : Cisco DPC3825. I had them replace this unit to make sure it wasn't malfunctioning but it did not remedy the problem. I also had them disable the router portion of the device so it would act as just a modem and acquired my own router. I am using a Netgear R6200.

I should also note that I have been unable to find a conflicting piece of software that I am using that may be causing the problem. With the DisableSendWindowOptimization=1 set in the profile settings the problem happens rarely and doesn't disconnect me but I tried removing that line from my profile and it's nearly impossible to stream.

Also like to confirm I'm running fine with the above option in my profile. I'll occasionally get a hiccup, but it's not any worse then before the problem started.

I have tried the above option and my OBS is still dropping frames like mad and unable to keep a stable connection to any server I choose. I have been through every single step in the forum and so far it has not gotten me any closer to streaming again with OBS, I might just stick to X-Split.

Where do I find the "profile.ini" file you guys are talking about? I'm having the same issues and have gone through all the steps to try and fix it but am still struggling.
