Hello,
I did some searing and only found one thread on this but it was very old. I am researching the best OBS setup for me. My gaming monitor is 1200p. This is an 8:5 ratio so my stream will have black bars. However if I change my base resolution to 1080 (16:9), then bars are gone. But then I downscale to 720p which is also good. My question is, can I just set my base resolution to 720p and still have a good quality stream? Does using downscaling cause any performance/quality hits compared to just adjusting base resolution?
Thanks!
