Dear readers,
I use an audio interface with 8 mic inputs (Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 1st gen) and am trying to get my single mic input to be mixed to both left and right channels in OBS. So I figured OBS thinks it's a stereo microphone of some sort, I already tried ticking the "Downmix to mono" button, but the problem persists (checked by monitoring the input thru OBS).
Anyone has any idea how to fix this? OBS doesn't seem to have an option to manually add a mono input channel and assigning the correct input to it (like Pro Tools, Ableton or any DAW).
I might need to buy an XLR splitter cable :(.
