Hi,
I am new with this programm.

I would like to add a video source so I thought: I just get me the 64bit plugin (http://obsproject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4711) and put it in my plugin folder (C:\Program Files\OBS\plugins) and start OBS but the plugin does not show up.

What do you do to get mp4 playing in your stream?

Thank you for anyone helping me out :)

Re: Video source?

You must have just installed it wrong, or booted up the 32bit version by mistake.

Re: Video source?

Thank you for the answer but I don't know what is wrong

I tried 64 and 32 bit version by now both from the forum thread and the website but it just does not show up. Do I need to do something more then put the folder and dll in the plugins folder and start OBS?

Re: Video source?

If it doesn't show up, then you installed it incorrectly. You need to unzip as-is in to the plugins directory.

Re: Video source?

I start to feel like a derp...

I deleted all the plugins in the folder -> started OBS -> no more plugins -> that means I am in the right folder

so I look closely. I have the 32bit version of OBS

I download the 32bit version of the plugin from the webpage

and put it in the folder as seen in the attchment

all other plugins show up, that one does not. It must be my instalation but how sould I do it?

Re: Video source?

That's the correct layout. If "Programme" is "Program Files", then that's the 64bit directory.

If you downloaded the 32bit version of the plugin, then you need to put it in C:\Programme (x86)\OBS\plugins
