Question / Help Doesn't lag when I'm recording but lags when I watch the video

so im using obs and when i record gameplays it is perfectly fine, no lag nothin. but when i watch the actual video that i recording it freezes but the sound keeps going and then it unfreezes and it doesnt play the video of when i am talking, if you know what i mean
 
Not totally sure about the "when i am talking" part, but I understand the general problem. Depending on your settings, the bitrate used by OBS could be a bit too much for your media player and thus lead to lags.
Encoding the video to a lower bitrate with more compression for example (to keep the quality) could help, but maybe show us a log first to see if the recording went fine from the obs side of things:
