I have two media players and one's VLC and one's another that doesn't work and when I try to record with OBS it switches to the media player that doesn't work I think there's a few solutions 1. VLC's on my C disk and the only way for it to work is add it to my D disk and OBS is on D disk I think. OBS doesn't work for VLC or VLC will only work if I get rid of the other media player. I actually tried to get rid of it but some things are still there and I'm trying to search for it at the moment.

Not all media players have the necessary codecs to play back H.264 video and AAC audio. The drive VLC is installed on is irrelevant. You don't have to uninstall the other media player. Just...play the files back with VLC. You could set it as the default application for MP4 or FLV files (that's what OBS generates). You could right-click on the file, choose Open With... and pick VLC from the list. You could run VLC first and then open the file from within the program. All of these methods should work fine.
