Does AV1 (SVT/AOM) support 4:4:4?

I've heard people say that in OBS SVT doesn't support 4:4:4 whereas AOM does. Is this correct?
When I have my settings set to either SVT or AOM, OBS allows to me to select 4:4:4 and capture; so is this actually capturing in 4:4:4?

As far as SVT-AV1 is concerned, it only supports 4:2:0, OBS has nothing to do with it. Production encoder, designed by Intel for speed & to run/scale on Xeon processors. If your GPU doesn't encode AV1, this is the encoder to use for real time encoding.

AOM-AV1 (Reference encoder) does it , the Profile needs to be set to High. OBS records using the Main Profile. Can the setting be updated? Maybe. Some articles say it should happen automatically but OBS may not be compliant.
