Hi there,
I've recently discovered OBS and I'm impressed with the quality of its recordings. So far my use is for high quality local recordings which I would like to edit with Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12. According to a thread in this forum you need to record audio in OBS using AAC to ensure compatibility with Sony's NLE. Unfortunately, when I use AAC my audio is distorted, or rather it plays back at perhaps 1/4 speed which makes the audio loose sync with the video and makes my voice sound extremely deep. When I record using Mp3 there is no issue with audio, but I can't import the video into Sony's NLE.
Is anyone able to help?
Thanks!
HJD
PS: It's late here, so I'm off to bed, but I will check back tomorrow morning.
