Question / Help display screen error with old games

Hello. I have a problem with capturing old games. I know that capturing the game will not work and you need to combine with a window or screen. Unfortunately, I do not have the option of including them in the window and I am having such a problem when capturing the screen. How do you remedy that the game is normally displayed on the entire screen?

As far as I know, some old games manipulate global graphics resources, such as palettes. You're using Windows 7 and turn Aero off for recording, so you make the desktop being affected by such global manipulations. Try to keep Aero on. Alternatively, try to use Windows 10 for that, it might be that Windows 10 has better process isolation than Windows 7. You also might try some app compatibility settings for that game, for example Windows XP compatibility, or a mode with reduced colors (65536). Windows 10 has more options, as far as I know.
