Question / Help Display driver crashes on Windows 10

Mid stream on Windows 10 my screens will go black for a few seconds and then back to normal then OBS stream fails with the error: "Texture->Map failed:..."

It mostly happens when I open a new tab on my browsers. Both Chrome and Firefox. It often is accompanied by black screens and I have to restart my pc and the stream. Or one of my two screens goes black and I have to disable and enable the graphics card in device manager to get my second screen back on.

I don't have a log file to hand, but I'll be sure to update this thread with an error log later if (or should I say when) it happens.

And by the way, this problem started since Windows 10.

Ah, this is technically an OBS1 error, and shouldn't happen anymore with multiplatform, or at least I haven't seen it reported yet. I can't help but wonder if it was a driver issue with DirectX 10.1, because I changed to DirectX 11 among other things and it stopped happening in multiplatform.

Hmmm...interesting. Well I'm going to stream now and I'll try out the new MP OBS. Thanks for the suggestion. Will post if anything goes wrong.
