Question / Help Display capturing wrong monitor in OBS.

I seemingly am unable to change which monnitor I want to stream from. I want to use my VG284, but instead it only shows my Labtop monitor. I have no idea how to undo this because the program won't allow me choose which monitor to play from. In properties it does have a monitor option, but this option only allows Monitor one to be projected. Please help asap; i'm looking to stream @ 5PM EST. Thanks!

I fixed it; But now it only shows a black screen, and i am unable to get past this step. Meaning that basically it attempts to project to my VG284 but only shows a black screen. I know I could stream off my labtop, but I prefer not to. Thanks!

does it show a black screen in OBS or the actual screen is black?

the black screen is probably due to nvidia optimus to which you need to tell the nvidia control panel to use OBS on the nvidia. dont expect to use monitor capture with the nvidia and be able to also run full screen games as this isn't possible.
