so this is what im seeing. You will also see something similar with super hexagon on my channel these games both have fixed resolution/aspect ratios from what I can tell. I very much want to share this game with my friends.

My money's on radeon r9 with all the problem games being opengl.

Which means you need to switch to obs studio and enable multi-adapter compatibility hooking on the game capture source.

OBS Studio has workarounds for the underlying Radeon R9 architecture and driver bugs causing your issue.

OBS Studio seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks. as far as streaming goes is there any downside to using this program vs normal OBS?

correction im just getting black screen.

ok i was wrong thought the whole time it was recording and apparently i've just been recording a black screen for hours. glad that preview mode is gone. so what do i do with this shit?

need a logfile from OBS studios. also, I hope you got rid of all the captures you weren't using. I saw like 5 captures all in the same scene.
