I've been trying to stream and for the life of me I can't get the stream to work. I'll start off stating what I have, followed by what the problem is and what I've tried.
Laptop:
Asus K53E
Intel Core i5-2430M Processor 2.40 GHz
4 GB Ram
Intel HD 3000 Integrated Graphics (this has me concerned since I ALWAYS have problems with integrated graphics and programs not working correctly)
Internet Speed:
35 mbps down (35074 kbps)
4 mbps up (4168 kbps)
29 ms Ping
Capture Card:
Roxio Game Capture HD Pro (I know it isn't supported yet)
Console:
Playstation 3 (guess it doesn't really matter)
The problem I am running into is that I used both the window capture and the monitor capture to of course capture the preview screen of the Roxio since it's not supported yet. I adjusted it all and the preview is fine, but when I try to stream to my twitch channel it disconnects after about 23 seconds and reconnects. I read the post and I've tried lowering the bitrate even down to 1000 kpbs, I've dropped the fps to 30, I've changed servers, I've reset my stream key, my internet isn't being throttled, and I've even tried other programs. I can get xsplit to stream, but it says I'm dropping frames. I'm not sure if it's due to the integrated graphics or the fact that I WAS using wireless but NOW It's wired. I followed the settings guide exactly and I still can't get OBS to stream. The only thing I haven't tried is disabling Aero simply because the Roxio preview screen will NOT work without Aero, which would defeat the purpose of a window/monitor capture. I've uploaded various logs in the automatic log checker and sometimes it'll say I've dropped frames or need to disable Aero and other times it says there are 0 problems.
As I've said, I don't know if it's due to my laptop or what. Another thing, for some reason I can't stream with the Roxio's built in software as of last night (probably due to twitch's video changes yesterday). I'll be live, but the video won't show even though other streams show fine. I say this because I don't know if this correlates to my problem with OBS, even though xsplit works...I just don't like xsplit though. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance to anyone who has any input.
