It would be so incredibly ironic if this was the cause.

Anyhow, hiimgosu -- http://sourceforge.net/projects/obsproj ... rce=navbar

Grab a version of which you are 100% certain it worked. If it then still doesn't work, then it's obviously not OBS. If it suddenly works again... please be sure to let us know because in that case, obviously some minor adjustments may be in order. ;)

It still D/C-ed with an older version? Well... that is informative. Maybe not the best news for you personally but it is informative nonetheless. It does suggest it's not OBS that is causing this issue.

How would you feel about resetting the router instead of just rebooting it?

If your internet is going out, that is why OBS is disconnecting. It's probably a problem with your ISP, router or modem.

Think about this logically for a second -- some time ago it was working fine, even with OBS, right? With a specific version, I don't know which, but you know and you tested it again after this was suggested to you. Now, using that same version of OBS it disconnects.

The variable... is not OBS, it is something else.

Did you reset the router yet as I suggested? You may also want to update its firmware. And, be sure to call your ISP. Sadly, as it is, it's not OBS that is causing this phenomenon.

Edit: The ultimate test to prove it's not prove -- Take your entire PC to someone else's house, someone who is not on the same ISP as you are, preferably not in the same city as you are and hook it up to the Internet using their router/modem. And see if it still disconnects.

And, have a look at Malwarebytes, Hijackthis and Autoruns. To check for malware possibly interfering with a proper functioning of your system.
