I want to record, but it says I either:
Don't have DirectX10
Need to update
or need to do platform update if I have windows Vista (I have windows 7)
I lloked and my computer has directX11, so Does that mean I also have DirectX 10 too. I updated my graphics card, but it is still old and I may still have to get a new one. I've got a Intel HD Grahics card, but I am not sure if that is good or bad. Hope you can help! Thank you!

Your GPU does not support DirectX 10, which means it doesn't meet the minimum requirements to run OBS. Just having DX10 installed is not enough.

You may be able to run future versions, though the fact that it doesn't even support directx 10 generally means that it's probably not going to perform very well.

The minimum requirements are not final yet for the future version of OBS.
A capable Graphics Card and Processor will still be needed though. Even if the requirements in general might be lowered slightly compared to OBS1.
