Question / Help DirectX 10 Error

Hi,

whenever i try to start/preview a stream I get this error message then OBS closes, i have updated DirectX 10 and my drivers are up to date. Any ideas on how i can fix this?

As it says in #1, if your GPU doesn't fully support DX10 then you won't be able to run OBS.

If you're using a laptop, no, because you can't upgrade its graphics hardware. If you're using a desktop then you'd need to get a new GPU, however if the PC is so old that it doesn't already support DX10 it may not be worth the investment since it would probably run OBS poorly.
