Question / Help Diamond Multimedia GC1000 USB 2.0 HD?

It says it captures HD over USB 2.0, which means it encodes its output, which means it's not yet compatible with OBS.

Thank you very much for answering. Any news of hardware like this being supported in the future?

The most-requested device to get this kind of support is the HD-PVR 2, which Jim now has and has started tinkering with. It will still be a while until such devices are supported though, as there are some other important things being worked on at the moment.

I recommend the XCAPTURE-1 USB 3.0 capture device, personally: http://www.solarisjapan.com/xcapture-1- ... ture-unit/ as long as you have an Intel or Renesas USB 3.0 controller.

The XCAPTURE-1 USB 3.0 currently works with OBS?

is there any plan to support the gc1000? i like the device but it would be awesome for it to work in obs
