Question / Help Detect pixel color?

I'd like to switch scenes based on the color of certain pixels. Is this possible?

That's fine. I am able to write a plugin if a) this is possible, and b) if pointed to the right methods to call

Sure, there are API functions to switch scenes, and they can be triggered by whatever your plugin tells it to.

Yup, the switching of scenes is fairly well documented. How about the pixel part? Is there example code around of grabbing a pixel/image from a stream?

From a stream? You mean from your screen? That is not an OBS-specific thing, there might be guides somewhere else on the internet.

I didn't want to create a new thread so I figured it was appropriate to reopen this thread. I'm not really great with coding but I'm wiling to attempt and learn so could anyone point me in the direction of how it is I should create a plugin that can detect a color to switch scenes?
