Hello, I want to start out by saying that i have a custom built Desktop PC stats/specs as follows.

Motherboard - BIOSTAR Hi-Fi A85W FM2 AMD
CPU - AMD A10-5800K Trinity 3.8GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Quad Core
RAM - 8GB of GSkill Ripjaws X DDR3
GPU - Gigabyte AMD R9 270X 4GB
Monitor - 24" Acer LED Monitor
Webcam - old logitec
Microphone - M-Audio Producer USB Mic
Speakers - Logitec z506 5.1 Surround

I have been having issues with streaming a few different games.....Mass Effect 1(playthrough the series), Battlefield 4, Dead Island Epidemic and a few others.....Game capture seems to do nothing but produce black screens,

I have spent the last 2 hours scouring the forums and websites for a solution, all of which seem to point at Craptops.....

i for the life of me cannot figure this out and am hoping for your assistance...

In the log you seemed to successfully capture MassEffect for some time and then mainly use Monitor Capture. With the newest update we had one or two users so far that had to remove and re-add the gamecapture to OBS. A reboot of the system can help if you had the prior version of OBS running and capturing a game before.

You unfortunately are belonging to the big group of AMD users that got an APU. While these processors are probably not bad in their very small field of usage, they are not really good if you want to play a game and stream. This is of course especially a Problem with more CPU/GPU hungry games, (BF4 probably being the worst of them).
The good thing is, your PC seems to only use the R9 graphics card, which should be a dedicated GPU and work fine with OBS.

One side note, you probably want to add your webcam as a global source. You had some slow scene changes, which are often related to a webcam being initialized.
